Take a walk outside and have a look at the different trees in your surroundings/neighbourhood and take a few leafs with you (different shapes, sizes, probably already fallen from the tree or picked by yourself from the tree).
Now prepare a digital picture/portrait of yourself, so that you can use it as a stencil: turn it into a black/white photo and raise the contrast as high as possible. Only black parts/shadows should be left now.
Print your prepared portrait in the size that is neccessary and which suites on one of your leafs. Take a cutter and cut out the dark parts of your stencil.
Now you transfer your portrait by the help of your stencil with a simple pencil on the leaf. Then cut out the former "dark" parts out of the leaf.
Here is one example of the singer "Adele" given:

Take a picture of your leaf and put it here on the blog. Also bring your leaf-portrait with you to the workshop in Germany.
